ECOMAISON

Eco-mobilier becomes Ecomaison. It is the only government-approved eco-organization to manage the sorting, collection, reuse and recycling of materials and objects for the whole home. Created in December 2011 by 12 French furniture distributors and 12 manufacturers, Eco-mobilier is the eco-organization approved by the public authorities to manage the collection, sorting, reuse, recycling and recovery of all furniture and bedding items. In 2021, Eco-mobilier means: 6,542 members, €310 million in eco-taxes, 1.2 million tonnes of furniture collected and 94% recovered. In 2022, Eco-mobilier will be accredited to handle toys, DIY and garden products, textile decorative elements in furniture and building products and materials.
