FRANCE BOIS 2024

The France Bois 2024 project was initiated and financed by CODIFAB (Comité professionnel de développement des industries françaises de l'ameublement et du bois) and the national interprofessional organization France Bois Forêt, to promote the use of construction and fitting-out solutions made from wood, particularly French wood, for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP). It aims to provide the collective information needed by project owners and to facilitate the participation of as many companies in the sector as possible, determined to rise to the challenge. Wood is essential to achieving the carbon objectives of the Olympic Games, in line with the Paris Agreement. It is a structuring and unifying project of the Strategic Contract for the Wood Sector, signed on November 16, 2018.
