The wood trade

Le Commerce du Bois is an association under the French law of 1901. It was born of the desire of representatives of three professional families (Agents, Importers and Merchants) to create a major movement representing French companies in the national and international timber trade. It was in 2000 that the sales forces were brought together in a single structure. This guarantees that the voice of the timber trade is clearly heard by public authorities, the market and, more generally, civil society in France and abroad. The Le Commerce du Bois association is present in France in all forestry and timber industry bodies, as well as internationally. We work closely with recognized international organizations.
