Oaks Unlimited maintains inventories of over two million board feet of Appalachian hardwood lumber from 4/4 to 8/4. The lumber is dried in our own state-of-the-art, computer-controlled kilns, and we have a kiln capacity of over 350,000 board feet. Our headquarters are located 35 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina. This location is in the Great Smoky Mountains, in the heart of the Appalachian region known for its premium hardwoods. We are at an altitude of about 3,000 feet above sea level, in a climate ideal for producing excellent lumber.
