PANAMA TEAK

Panama is located in Central America, with 60,000 hectares of teak, all planted in the 90s until today. We are a group of certified forest owners who promote our products under the "Panama Teak" brand. All our teak is 100% FSC-certified. Teak needs fertile soil, little temperature variation throughout the year, strong dry seasons, plenty of rain and, last but not least, political stability and a dollar economy in the country - because it's a long-term investment. Since teak needs to be 20 to 25 years old before it can be harvested, we have a large volume of high-quality teak available today. There is a growing demand for teak plantations, to reduce pressure on the world's remaining native forests. Panama Teak is ready to meet this demand.
