"We sincerely believe that wood is a material of the future, today more than ever. It's a philosophy that's been driving us for over 20 years, and was behind the creation of the show in 1992, at a time when wood was considered "old-fashioned". The idea was to provide the wood industry with a tool to enable companies to showcase their products and expertise.
The changing role of wood in society can be seen directly on the exhibitors' stands: at the very beginning of the Carrefour International du Bois, there were far fewer processed products than there are today. Companies in the sector are innovating and designing increasingly sophisticated, high value-added products that meet market needs, such as acoustic ceilings. Interior architects and designers are bringing more living into the home, and there's a real opportunity developing in this sector in particular."

This business show is organized every two years in Nantes (France) by professionals for professionals. A leading trade show, it brings together international exhibitors and visitors over 3 days.
