QUEBEC WOOD EXPORT BUREAU (QWEB)

The Quebec Wood Export Bureau (QWEB) is a non-profit organization created in 1996, whose mission is to develop export markets for Quebec wood products, ensure market access for these products and promote the use of wood in all markets, whether regional, provincial or national. QWEB brings together some 125 exporting companies in the following wood processing groups: softwood and value-added softwood, hardwood and value-added hardwood, flooring, wood construction and wood pellets. For several years now, QWEB has been actively involved in a number of major international negotiating tables, where wood is seen as a concrete means of effectively combating climate change.
