Xylofutur, Growth Generator! Certified since 2005, Xylofutur, the national competitiveness cluster for the forestry and timber sector, aims to develop the sector's competitiveness through research, development and innovation (RD&I), in order to provide a sustainable response to the needs of industry and society, while preserving resources. Xylofutur, which coordinates the industry's ecosystem, currently has 250 members and 283 accredited projects. Its position makes it one of the industry's strategic partners, acting as a link between public authorities, private sector players, academia, research and entrepreneurs. In order to stimulate innovation in the forestry-wood industry, Xylofutur is organized around three main strategic axes, which integrate the cross-cutting themes of bioeconomy and low-carbon: ? Trees and forests: to increase the production and harvesting of wood and biomass, and the competitiveness of silvicultural systems and wood supplies. ? Wood: transforming and using wood as a material, with a focus on markets such as sustainable construction, home improvement, parquet/wood flooring, fittings and furnishings, wood packaging, etc. ? Chemistry and energy: develop wood as a source of fiber, a raw material for biosourced chemistry and energy, thermal engineering applications or CO² storage. The cluster's dynamic approach is based on a broad range of services: - Innovative projects (regional, national or European), with support for set-up, engineering and financing, right through to communication and dissemination of results. - Promotion and communication: technical days; Xylodating; project seminars; trade fairs; members' meetings, communication media, as well as dedicated transversal collective actions such as Numéribois, etc. - European service, positioning Xylofutur and its members in different
