BOIS ET SCIERIES DU CENTER

Bois et Scieries du Centre (BSC), a family business located in the heart of the Limousin forest, is a 100% softwood sawmill (Douglas fir, spruce, fir). The packaging market accounts for 70% of its lumber production. It produces rafters and boards for pallets. Lumber production supplies 40% of the construction market. Related products: sawdust, chips, bark. PEFC-certified, CE-marked and equipped with drying kilns. It saws 45,000m3 of planks and rafters a year, and in 2019 will be offering chipboard and a pellet manufacturing plant. J DESTEVE Palettes, a family-run company based in Correze, works with BSC to manufacture pallets of all sizes, assembled using wood from sustainably-managed forests. It contributes to the replanting of local forests by supporting the Fonds Forestier en Limousin. Production: 800,000 pallets a year, delivered throughout France.
