Founded in 1993, Välinge Innovation initiated a technical revolution in the parquet sector, spearheading the transition from traditional tongue-and-groove gluing to today's clip-on technology. Since the launch of its original mechanical locking system, Välinge Innovation has obtained over 3,500 patents in the field of parquet, furniture and surface treatments, and has 260 licensees using these innovations worldwide. The patented Woodura® surface treatment and 5G® Dry joining system used for our BJELIN densified wood floors are tried, tested and approved by the flooring industry. We develop our floor collections in Viken, Sweden, one of the world's most advanced parquet research centers. Välinge and its sister company BJELIN were born of a passionate desire to create a new generation of wood flooring.
