Since 1962, Wde Maspell has been constructing vacuum dryers, very high temperature vacuum ovens (thermo-treated wood) and stainless steel steaming cells (vapo-treated wood). 600 vacuum cells in France, 94 patents and more than 6,000 installations in 49 countries. Capacities between 0.4 m3 and 100 m3. Thermovide multi-purpose ovens (capacities between 1 and 70 m3) have several functions: vacuum drying and vacuum heat treatment (little oxygen). Heating the wood to temperatures between 150 and 220°C makes it possible to change the colors at heart, to improve the durability and stability of the species (Vacwood S, C and D). Thermo-treatment of hardwoods (poplar, ash), softwoods and exotics (ayous, fraké, movingui). We also offer stainless steel steaming cells guaranteed against corrosion, special model for very long frames (change of color – faux old wood – Vapo-treated wood).
