The French Forestry Cooperation Organization (UCFF) gathers 13 forestry cooperatives throughout the territory. The forestry cooperatives bring together 119 000 forest owners. They support them in the management of 2.1 million hectares of forest, the harvesting and supply of 7.6 million m3 of wood per year (i.e. 20% of national production) and the reforestation of 16 000 ha/year. The forestry cooperatives employ 1 300 people.
