UMB FFB - UNION DES MÉTIERS DU BOIS DE LA FFB

The Union des Métiers du Bois defends and represents craftsmen and member companies of the Fédération Française du Bâtiment and the wood-construction industry. In this capacity, and through the representative bodies in which we participate, we work to promote and facilitate the use of wood materials in construction and renovation. We lobby the relevant authorities to define policies in the fields of technology (standardization), training and prevention. We participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of Research & Development projects in close partnership with IRABOIS, our tax-exempt entity. We maintain a regulatory and technical watch to provide the information and resources needed to develop activities in this field. We are also at the service of our members for all technical questions arising from disputes on construction sites.
