ROUGIER, the leader in responsible African timber, is a key player in the international tropical timber market. Rougier responsibly manages around 1.5 million hectares of forests in Gabon and Congo certified by independent third-party organizations (FSC® in Gabon and LegalSource™ in Congo). Rougier markets sawn timber, logs, plywood and veneers worldwide, from the production of its subsidiaries Rougier Gabon© and Rougier Congo© and those of its industrial partners based in Central Africa. Our main species are : Okoumé, Sapelli, Sipo, Padouk, Tali, Azobé, Okan, Mahogany, Movingui, Bossé... In particular, Rougier markets exclusively in Europe a range of plywood panels produced by its partner Star Ply in Gabon. These panels are FSC®, CTBX and KOMO certified, and made from FSC®-certified Okoumé logs supplied by Rougier Gabon.
