The Carrefour International du Bois is THE trade show for the lumber and industrial wood sector, welcoming all players in the industry, from all sectors. After 2 years of pandemic, we're delighted to be able to take part in this eagerly-awaited event!

PEFC is now well recognized by players in the forest-wood-paper industry, and is increasingly in demand by public and private sector specifiers who rely on our sustainable forest management certification. It was therefore an obvious choice for us to be present to present our action, our usefulness in all sectors of activity, and the PEFC certification process. With our stand, we hope to facilitate encounters with industry players and physical reunions with PEFC-certified companies.

80% of French exhibitors at the Carrefour International du Bois are PEFC-certified. This reflects their commitment to sourcing more and more certified materials from sustainably managed forests. For PEFC, the CIB will be an ideal opportunity to exchange views with all the certified companies already committed to sustainable forest management, and to meet those wishing to become certified. It will be an opportunity for us to find out more about their challenges and latest news, to share with them the actions carried out by PEFC in France and around the world, and to present the tools we can make available to them.

PEFC is also taking part in a round table dedicated to the construction industry, organized on the morning of Thursday June 2. With the new RE2020 construction regulations coming into force at the beginning of the year, we hope to be able to support even more players in the building sector, and provide them with one of the solutions to meet the challenges of the sector's ecological transition in a sustainable way.
