Manager marketing and communication at Minco and exhibitor at the Carrefour 2022, answers a few questions.
Can you present your company in a few words?
Minco has been a designer and manufacturer of windows, French windows, and entrance doors for over 30 years. Today, we have 250 employees and manufacture 2500 windows per week and 50 entrance doors entirely in Aigrefeuille sur Maine (44140). We design all our products by combining a maximum of wood (for its virtues and thermal performance) with a minimum of aluminium (for its resistance and customisation). We work daily to promote sustainable and « low carbon » housing.
What is the Carrefour International du Bois for you?
It is a place for exchanges and meetings with committed actors. It is an incredible source of information and sharing of ideas, a place of discovery and ambition, of imagination and trends! Finally, it is a congress that allows us to generate ideas by discovering technologies that we could adapt to our products.
You are a former exhibitor, what is the best memory you have of the Carrefour?
Each exhibition is unique, and it is difficult for me to highlight one memory more than another. On the other hand, what I can more easily evoke is the common character of all these meetings. All of them highlight the interest of everyone (exhibitors and visitors) in seeking the best uses of wood. They all highlight our deep desire to innovate thanks to wood, its virtues, its performance, and its limitless design.
What are your expectations for this new edition?
It is an excellent communication tool to promote the brand and our locally manufactured products. We also want to present our values, which are focused on innovation, people, quality, and the environment. This allows us to meet market stakeholders and specifiers and to discuss our solutions to meet their expectations. At the conference, we navigate in a world of specialists and/or enthusiasts: a real advantage for understanding the market.
